Wanaka Partners integrates sustainability into its core strategy.
Wanaka Partners – the newly formed entity from the merger of Tribeca Capital Partners and Cobelpro – places sustainability and carbon reduction at the core of its real estate strategy. By reviving obsolete buildings and addressing key societal challenges, the firm is shaping projects with long-term purpose. In partnership with sustainability consultancy Encon and with the support of KBC Commercial Banking, Wanaka is aligning its efforts with BREEAM standards and the EU taxonomy. ‘Our ambition is to turn every building into a meaningful and integrated part of the urban fabric,’ says Lisa Moerman, Sustainability Manager at Wanaka Partners.
Wanaka Partners gives aging property a future again.
In partnership with sustainability consultancy Encon and KBC Commercial Banking, Wanaka Partners is shaping a more resilient future for real estate by embedding sustainability at the core of its strategy. From reducing carbon emissions and implementing futureproof upgrades, to driving placemaking efforts that bring people together, the company is committed to extending the life and relevance of existing buildings. This integrated approach, supported by expert partners, ensures that every intervention contributes not only to the built environment — but to the broader urban fabric.
Real estate companies Tribeca and Cobelpro merge to become Wanaka Partners.
Tribeca and Cobelpro have long shared more than just a sector. Since 2010, both real estate firms have operated under the Reventon holding, with the Walravens and Naeyaert families as shareholders, and have collaborated on various projects over the years. With their merger into Wanaka Partners — a name inspired by Lake Wanaka in New Zealand — that partnership is now formalised. The new entity focuses on three core areas: real estate management, fund management, and capital solutions.
Tribeca and Cobelpro become Wanaka Partners.
As of 1 January 2025, Cobelpro and Tribeca will officially operate under a new name: Wanaka Partners. Cobelpro, known for its expertise in property management, and Tribeca, its sister company within the Reventon Group, focused on professional real estate investment and asset management, have now merged into a single entity. This decision follows years of close collaboration between the two firms and reflects their shared ambition to offer an even more effective and integrated real estate partnership.
